The ambitious aspirant of a gang of con artists finds out during his last trial that no training in the world can prepare him for a birthday party of the noble Frankfurt families.
On the last day of training, a young con artist apprentice moves with his mentor from door to door through Frankfurt am Main and swindles in costume the money out of the unsuspecting victims‘ drawers. Arriving at the last house and thus the final test, the young father Huey has to prove himself for the first time without his graying partner Jennifer: All or nothing! Disguised as a technician from an Internet company, the already nervous Huey faces not only a victim, but an entire birthday party at once. In the modern mansion, nothing goes as planned and things only get worse for the young con man. Along with a growing family feud among the old aristocratic birthday party, scheming conspiring siblings and his own clumsiness, everything gradually goes wrong for Huey. In humorous, bizarre fashion, Huey is thrown through the events in the house and in the finale throws his last moral out the window during a showdown against an eight-year-old girl. In the end, Huey has to save not only himself but, more importantly, his hard-gotten loot under a hail of flying champagne bottles in a big family bruise.

A tale of a young woman‘s childhood, adolescence, and growing up, outlining the conflict between a sense of duty and a desire for freedom amidst repetitive intergenerational family dynamics.
Three periods: childhood, early adolescence and adulthood. We follow Tati‘s first years of life, the loving care of her grandmother Valentina and the daily work of her single mother Elena in the oppressive 2-room apartment of a large Kazakh city. Nearly a decade after the fall of the Soviet Union, Elena is single-handedly trying to keep the family afloat with the exhausting work at the orphanage while meeting the demands of her authoritarian mother. A few years later, Tati and Elena are living in Germany with Alex, an immigrant from Eastern Europe. At first glance, this is a liberation from the stressful living conditions and the suppressive mother-daughter relationship. However, Tati has difficulties finding her way in the new environment and the new family structure. The supposedly perfect family image crumbles when the Elenas new partner shows his true face. With these experiences as a foundation, Tati reaches her teenage years. Since her divorce from Alex, Tati now bears much of the responsibility for herself and her mother. Her pent-up anger and frustration now bubbles out bit by bit, in escapades with her friends, but also in heated disputes with Elena, who behaves more and more like Valentina. To break the cycle of family dynamics that have been repeating themselves for generations, the two women learn to deal with each other as Elena takes personal responsibility and Tati manages to look beyond her own situation and put herself in her mother‘s shoes.

A quixotesque conspiracy adventure.
Otto Fürst, a provocative German painter, travels to Southern Chile on the trail of his grand-mother’s first love. On his journey he teams up with Federico, a paranoid Chilean journalist, who believes that the man Otto is looking for was not just any German but Adolf Hitler himself, who allegedly fled to Patagonia in a submarine. What initially seems to be an absurd idea eventually becomes the starting point of a zany family drama and, by the way, of the greatest conspiracy in History: the establishment of the Fourth Reich, which threatens to kill the world’s population by means of a dangerous virus transported by Patagonian flamingos. Otto, a little confused, sees no choice but to try to save the world.

A 10-part TV series about the precarious life in the shadow of an inflated billion-dollar market.

The unsuccessful painter Maurice Dupont (49) tries to keep his head above water as a driver for a small art transport company. When he surprisingly gets the opportunity to exhibit in an up-and-coming gallery, Maurice hopes for the long-awaited breakthrough. But besides the turbulent trucking job, everyday struggles for existence and overcoming excesses, there is little time for painting and the vernissage date is approaching ominously. As if that were not enough, the old story about the fully loaded Sprinter, which was stolen from him on a delivery tour, also catches up with him. Although the insurance company has now paid up and the damage to the image of the haulage company seems to be slowly being overcome, only Maurice, his art forger friend Jury and the thief know what delicate cargo the Sprinter still had on board.

Russia, 1996: Poverty and awakening. In the middle of it all: the penniless market trader Oleg. The father-to-be sets off on a road trip to Moscow in a stolen Sprinter to ensure the survival of his young family.
The end of the Soviet Union is the beginning of the story. In the far east, in the Siberian city of Omsk, lives Oleg. In the midst of this volatile time full of new opportunities, the freedom-loving go-getter learns that he will soon become a father. To ensure the survival of his young family, he wants to stock up on cheap food in the lush markets of Moscow in the West and then sell it expensively back in the East. He takes out a loan, steals a Sprinter and sets off on an adventurous road trip. Although obstacles keep getting in his way, he keeps going. But unfortunately, fate is not kind to him. On the way back to Omsk he is attacked and loses everything. There he gets further and further entangled in a debt trap and, above all, in his lies. Finally, he makes a deal with the highly dangerous Orange Mafia. But even if he can fool them, the Russian winter is more cold-blooded than any criminal gang. Merciless temperatures prevail on the market and so Father Frost puts an end to his business: all his hard-won oranges freeze. So, in desperation, Oleg packs his bags, leaving behind what matters most to him: his family.
