The ambitious aspirant of a gang of con artists finds out during his last trial that no training in the world can prepare him for a birthday party of the noble Frankfurt families.
On the last day of training, a young con artist apprentice moves with his mentor from door to door through Frankfurt am Main and swindles in costume the money out of the unsuspecting victims‘ drawers. Arriving at the last house and thus the final test, the young father Huey has to prove himself for the first time without his graying partner Jennifer: All or nothing! Disguised as a technician from an Internet company, the already nervous Huey faces not only a victim, but an entire birthday party at once. In the modern mansion, nothing goes as planned and things only get worse for the young con man. Along with a growing family feud among the old aristocratic birthday party, scheming conspiring siblings and his own clumsiness, everything gradually goes wrong for Huey. In humorous, bizarre fashion, Huey is thrown through the events in the house and in the finale throws his last moral out the window during a showdown against an eight-year-old girl. In the end, Huey has to save not only himself but, more importantly, his hard-gotten loot under a hail of flying champagne bottles in a big family bruise.
