In WE, »KINSKI« AND I, people have their say and provide insight into a life with their mental illnesses. A balancing of speaking and silence begins. Silence out of consideration for the feelings of the viewers. And the insistence on what is important to them, which seems unspeakable and yet must be sayable. Through injuries, fear and hope they expose their view of the world and their personal stories. Inspired by authentic portraits of clients of the Pestalozzi Foundation Hamburg, the authors create a polyphony of life trajectories that have slipped from public view into silence.
